Chapter 169 The Mastermind (2)

Her thoughts were quickly interrupted as Noah turned around and started giving her instructions.

After he was done, her frown became heavier than a mountain.

\'This bastard wants us both dead,\'

She couldn\'t help but think, as they stood in front of the door.

Seeing Noah turn around to face her, she thought.

\'Finally, he actually realised he was looking for death with that plan, maybe he changed his mind"

"What are you doing?" he said, stepping slightly behind her. "Knock on the door."

Her jaw dropped slightly, and her expression twisted into one of pure shock.

\'He\'s serious. This psychopath is actually serious.\'

Despite the dread in her stomach, Natasha realized there was no escape from her fate.

Noah\'s earlier threats left her no option but to comply.

Swallowing her fear, she raised her trembling hand and knocked on the door.

The hollow sound echoed ominously through the air, each knock making her dread the consequences.

Soon enough, the door opened slowly.

\'Creak\'

A young-looking man who seemed to be around the age of twenty glanced at Natasha and Noah who was next to her with a frown on his face.

Yanks glanced down the street, his gaze scanning the surroundings carefully before returning to them, his frown deepening.

"Natasha," he said, his tone deceptively casual. "Who\'s this you brought with you?"

Yanks questioned, his tone seemingly casual although his frown spoke volumes.

"This?" Natasha said, her voice strained as she fought to maintain her composure.

Forcing a smirk, she nodded toward Noah. "He\'s someone interested in working with us. He\'s got a good CV."

Yanks raised an eyebrow, his eyes flicking back to Noah. But after a brief pause, he shrugged, his body language loosening slightly.

"Alright," Yanks said, stepping aside and gesturing with his chin. "Come in."

Noah stepped forward, his expression unreadable as his sharp eyes swept over Yanks.

Yanks returned the glance, his frown briefly flickering before he stepped back to let them in. Natasha followed behind Noah, her legs feeling like lead as they entered the house.

Entering inside, the smell of cigarettes invaded Noah\'s nostrils alongside the sound of drill music.

Yanks closed the door behind them, the heavy sound of the lock clicking into place sending a chill down Natasha\'s spine.

"So," Yanks said, crossing his arms as his eyes flicked back to Noah. "How old are you, you look like a youngling."

"I\'m eighteen,"

"Aight," Yanks said, crossing his arms as his eyes flicked back to Noah. "What\'s your name, and what kind of work are you looking for?"

"Noah, I\'m looking for anything you could give me," He said with a small smile.

Looking at his smile, Yanks paused and nodded.

"Alright, we will talk about this later."

Yanks then lead them inside, with Noah\'s eyes carefully scanning the whole house.

\'He doesn\'t seem to have anything on him right now, there should also be around two more people in this house.\'

\'From the sounds, they should both be in that room.\'

He thought, his eyes darting to a door at the end of the corridor.

Yanks crossed his arms, his sharp eyes briefly flicking to Noah before he spoke, his tone commanding yet seemingly casual.

"Alright, Noah. You chill here for now. I need to have a quick chat with Natasha."

Noah gave a silent nod, gesturing for Natasha to go ahead without Yanks seeing him.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Natasha hesitated, her thoughts racing.

\'What is this madman thinking? He\'s just letting me walk off with Yanks? Isn\'t he worried I\'ll rat him out?\'

Her nerves only worsened as she followed Yanks out of the room, her steps reluctant. She was so preoccupied with her inner turmoil that she barely registered what happened when suddenly, Yanks dropped like a stone, crumpling to the floor without a sound.

Natasha froze, her breath stuck in her throat as her mind struggled to process what had just happened next to her.

Yanks was unconscious—completely limp on the ground—and she hadn\'t even seen Noah move.

Before she could let out the scream that was building in her throat, Noah\'s hand clamped tightly around her neck.

His grip wasn\'t crushing, but it was enough to stop her voice cold.

His dark eyes bore into hers with a chilling intensity.

"Keep that mouth closed," he muttered, his voice as quiet as it was menacing.

Natasha nodded hurriedly, managing to choke out a strained, "Okay," through his hold.

Noah released her, and she staggered back slightly, coughing as she clutched her throat.

He paid her no mind, dragging Yanks\' unconscious body further into the living room and placing it behind the couch.

Once the body was out of sight, he turned to her with the same unnerving calm.

"I want you to lead the other two here," he said coldly.

Natasha\'s eyes widened, her voice trembling as she stammered, "H-how am I supposed to do that?"

A shiver ran through her. "They\'ll know something\'s wrong if I just call them."

Noah\'s eyes narrowed, his tone growing sharper. "Use your body."

"What?" Natasha\'s voice cracked, disbelief etched across her face. "My body? Are you joking?"

"No," Noah said, his tone devoid of humour. "Don\'t act dumb with me. I saw the way Yanks looked at you earlier—you\'re nothing more than a toy to him. I\'m betting it\'s the same for the other two."

Natasha\'s face flushed with anger and shame, but the fear gripping her body kept her from snapping back.

Instead, she stared at him, her hands trembling at her sides.

"Hurry up," Noah continued, his voice annoyed and cold. "I don\'t have time to play games with you."

Natasha hesitated, her mind swimming with indignation and terror.

She finally nodded, realizing she had no choice.

Noah\'s expression didn\'t soften in the slightest. "Oh, and one more thing," he said, stepping closer until his presence loomed over her.

His tone was low, but the threat in his words was unmistakable.

"I\'ll be watching you," he said, his smirk returning faintly. "Do anything suspicious, and I\'ll put a bullet in your head—right alongside theirs."

Natasha swallowed hard, her body trembling as she nodded again. "I understand," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

"Good," Noah said, gesturing toward the hallway with a tilt of his head. "Now, go. And don\'t make me regret sparing you."

Natasha turned slowly, her legs feeling like jelly as she walked toward the corridor. Her mind was racing, her fear mounting with every step.

\'This man isn\'t human. He\'s a monster.\'

Preparing herself, she forced a flirtatious smile onto her face as she approached the door at the end of the hallway, preparing to lure the two remaining gang members into Noah\'s trap.

Behind her, Noah stood in the shadows, his eyes cold and watchful, the gun in his hand glinting faintly under the light.

Her heart pounded in her chest, but she plastered on a flirtatious smile as she opened the door, her gaze sweeping across the room.

Inside, the two men were busy packing up bundles of weed.

At the sound of the door opening, both of them glanced up.

Their eyes raked over her figure, their gazes lingering as identical smirks spread across their faces.

"Leng ting," one of them muttered, his voice carrying a teasing edge. "What you telling me?" (Leng ting: \'Leng\' = beautiful in UK slang & \'ting\' = girl in this context)

Natasha giggled softly, letting her shoulders drop slightly in order to seduce them further. "I want... you," she said, her tone dripping with seduction.

The man\'s smirk deepened. "Oh yeah? Taking the initiative this time, huh?" His eyes gleamed with interest as he leaned back slightly, tossing a bundle of weed into a bag without looking.

"You must be in a good mood. What, you already robbed the boy?"

Natasha nodded, keeping her expression seductive.

"That\'s part of it," she admitted, tilting her head slightly as her gaze flickered between the two of them. "But the other part?" She let her voice drop, drawing them in with every word. "I missed you…both of you."

The second man, who had been quieter up to this point, raised an eyebrow, a grin tugging at the corner of his lips. "Both of us, huh?" he said, his tone intrigued. "Now that\'s a first...but I like it."

Natasha stepped into the room, swaying her hips slightly. "Why don\'t you stop what you\'re doing?" she purred. "And...let\'s have some fun."

"Aight, bet," the first one said, standing up and brushing off his hands. The second followed after him, their expressions eager and shameless as they followed her toward the door like horny dogs.

Natasha led them back down the corridor, her heart racing with each step.

\'Just a little further,\'

she thought, forcing herself to maintain the act as she walked with a sway that kept their eyes locked on her and nowhere else.

"You know," one of them said, leaning in slightly as they walked, "you don\'t usually come to us like this. What\'s gotten into you tonight?"
