Let's Train Heroine

Chapter 273 Heroine's Love Fighting 6

He barely had time to react as her attacks came. An icy blade whizzed past his cheek, close enough for him to feel the sting of its cold bite. He twisted, ducking low to avoid the next barrage of ice projectiles that followed. Bing wasn\'t just attacking—she was controlling the battlefield.

The ground beneath Lucan\'s feet froze instantly, slick with a layer of ice that made it nearly impossible for him to find solid footing. He skidded, almost losing his balance before he caught himself, summoning his light magic to melt the ground around him.

But Bing was relentless.

She glided toward him, her feet barely touching the frozen ground as she summoned more blades of ice, launching them at Lucan with terrifying accuracy. He had no choice but to use Shadow Step, his form flickering in and out of the shadows as he desperately dodged the barrage. Yet even his teleportation ability wasn\'t enough to escape her completely.

The bright, frozen landscape reflected too much light, limiting his ability to find proper shadows to hide in.

A sharp pain exploded in Lucan\'s side as one of the ice blades found its mark, slicing through his defenses and embedding itself in his flesh. He grunted, staggering from the impact, but quickly rolled away to avoid the next attack. His blood stained the ice beneath him, the red stark against the white landscape.

Bing smiled—a cold, chilling smile that sent shivers down Lucan\'s spine.

"You can\'t run forever, human," she said softly, "In this form, I don\'t need to overpower you. I just need to outlast you."

Lucan clenched his teeth, knowing she was right. Bing\'s human form concentrated all her power into precision attacks. Every move she made was deliberate, designed to weaken him bit by bit until he couldn\'t fight back. Her heart, while vulnerable, was protected by her speed and skill. His attacks, though powerful, had little effect on her as she danced through the battlefield with ease.

He summoned his water magic, sending a torrent of boiling water toward her, but Bing merely raised a hand, freezing the water solid in midair before shattering it into a thousand ice shards. She sent the shards back at Lucan in a deadly flurry. He barely had time to shield himself with a burst of light magic, the heat from his spell melting the shards before they could reach him.

Lucan\'s heart pounded in his chest as he struggled to find an opening. His mana reserves were draining faster than he\'d like, but he knew he couldn\'t afford to hold back. Bing\'s attacks were growing more intense, and her precision was cutting him down piece by piece.

He was already bleeding from several wounds, his body battered and bruised, but Maris\'s healing magic was working in the background, constantly knitting his injuries back together. Without her, he would have fallen already.

Bing advanced, her icy blades spinning in her hands as she moved. With each step, she closed the distance between them, her attacks growing fiercer. Lucan could feel the frost biting at his skin, even as he dodged and weaved through her assault. His water and light magic were barely holding off the freezing cold, and every time he melted the ice, Bing simply froze it again.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

He had to do something—anything—to force her back.

Lucan gathered his strength, summoning a massive sphere of light in his hands. The glowing orb crackled with heat and energy, illuminating the battlefield with its blinding brilliance. He launched the sphere at Bing, watching as it soared through the air, burning away the frost as it traveled.

Bing\'s eyes narrowed as the orb approached. She moved quickly, her body a blur of motion as she sidestepped the attack, but Lucan wasn\'t aiming for her directly. The sphere exploded in the air behind her, sending a shockwave of heat through the battlefield. The ice cracked and shattered beneath them, the air filled with steam as the intense heat collided with Bing\'s frozen magic.

For a brief moment, Lucan saw her falter.

Her icy aura flickered, her movements slowing as she tried to regain control of the battlefield. Lucan seized the opportunity. He Shadow Stepped forward, reappearing just in front of her with his hand glowing with light magic. He thrust his palm toward her chest, aiming for her heart.

But Bing was quicker.

She deflected his strike with a flick of her wrist, an ice blade materializing in her hand just in time to block his attack. She twisted, delivering a sharp kick to Lucan\'s side that sent him flying backward. He crashed into the frozen ground, sliding several feet before coming to a stop. The impact knocked the wind from his lungs, and for a moment, the world spun around him.

Bing didn\'t give him time to recover.

She was on him in an instant, her foot slamming into his chest and pinning him to the ground. Ice spread from her foot, encasing his torso in a frozen prison. Lucan gasped as the cold seeped into his body, numbing his limbs and stealing his breath. He struggled to break free, but the ice held firm, locking him in place.

"You\'re finished," Bing whispered, her voice like the wind howling through a winter storm. "You fought well, but this is the end."

Lucan\'s vision blurred as the cold overwhelmed him. His heart pounded in his chest, his body screaming in protest as the frost bit into his skin. He could feel his strength waning, his mana reserves nearly depleted. It seemed he need to use Evil Magic.
