Not just Austin and Sam anymore, literally all the Enyimba FC players were forced to take pictures with the excited fans and also sign autographs as they wanted to create a memory from this memorable night for Nigeria football.
In social media, a storm already started as the excited fans flooded all social media pages, promoting Enyimba FC and most especially, their player who won the golden ball award for the season\'s CAF champions league.

*Dammit! Give Zinedine Sam the golden boy award already! No young player in Europe can lace his boots, fight with your keyboard!
*1 goal and 3 assists, 4 consecutive man of the match awards all the way from the first leg of the semifinals, damn, this mother*cker never miss! Sam is too good, Jesus, give him the balon do\'r! The scariest part is he\'s still only 17, the Super Eagles is about to welcome a monster real soon.
*Destroyed JS Kabylie in the quarter finals, violated the almighty Al Ahly in the semifinals, and totally obliterated Wydad AC in the final, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, Enyimba FC, the best football club in all of Africa!
*Enyimba FC is currently the best club in Africa and Samuel Moses is its best player! All the haters, you can say all you want but honestly, I think Sam is already at the level of those African stars playing in Europe, I dare say even better than some.
*Which European club is coming for him first? In case you see this, Sam, I asked first! Please join my club, please join Chelsea Football Club, we need you, you\'re too good to join a wack team like Manchester United, be wise Sam, don\'t let them deceive you!
*I once heard that Sam is an FC Barcelona fan. If that\'s true, I can\'t wait man, I\'m so excited! Do you think Barca will go for him? I really hope so man, I just hope they see the potential in him.
*Well, I\'m pretty surprised at all the noise being made. Enyimba FC won the CAF Champions league, not Sam. I know the boy, I played football with him here in Abraka, mark my words, Sam is an injury prone player, he\'s not made for the top.
*Well, haters gonna hate, go suck a d*ck!
There was a storm in social media and an even bigger storm in reality. Since it was already late when they got to Nigeria, the Enyimba FC players lodged a hotel in Abuja, the Nigerian capital city where they spent the night.
The next day, they returned to Abia State where the club already organized another celebratory event to celebrate their achievement yesterday and again, the Enyimba International Stadium was filled with tens of thousands of fans.
That performance yesterday truly shot all the players of the starting 11 into stardom, their social media pages experienced an upsurge of followers.
And of course, the player at the center of it all was still Sam.
Right there amid the celebration, the demanding fans chanted.
"We want Sam!"
"We want Sam!"
"We want Sam!"
Austin was supposed to give the celebratory speech but, in the end, Sam was forced to climb the podium with an awkward smile on his face.
Once he spoke into the microphone, the noisy stadium instantly quietened down. The fans already saw him as some sort of god sent to rescue their club, the respect he commanded among them now was truly ridiculous.
Noting their silence, Sam became more confident and with a big smile on his face, he spoke. "We would have never made it all the way to the end without your support, and for that, I appreciate all of you".
"Personally, I\'d like to appreciate a few people".
"First, Coach," Sam looked down at his coach. "Thank you for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to play professionally when others didn\'t, I will never forget your impact in my life and my career".
"Secondly, and most importantly," he grinned. "I want to thank my family".
"That you dad, for believing in me, thank you for helping me convince mom". He chuckled. "Thank you for everything," tears welled in his eyes. "Without you, I won\'t be standing where I am today".
"And mom, thank you too," he revealed a witty grin. "Thank you for your fiery support, for agreeing," he chuckled. "I hope by now, you already learned how to pronounce Enyimba FC correctly".
The fans laughed.
"And Sophia too, thank you for all those times you didn\'t rat me out when I snuck out of the house to go play football, I love you".
"Hehe," he laughed. "Don\'t worry, I\'ll treat you lavishly the next time that I meet you".
"And lastly, the fans". He looked up at the stadium stands where tens of thousands of fans focused on him. "Thank you for believing, in me, in the club, in the squad, everything, we are grateful".
"Thank you for the unrelenting support".
"We would have never done it without your support".
"And right now, I want to make this promise to you," his eyes gleamed. "We\'re not done yet".
"We just won the CAF champions league, but the season is not over yet".
"The Super 6 playoffs of the league is starting this month to determine the league winners," he grinned. "Rest assured, we will give our all to win it".
"We will also give our all in the FA Cup".
"And lastly, we have the Club World Cup to play since we are the reigning champions of Africa".
"I can\'t promise that we will win, but we will give our all".
"Sam!" "Sam!" "Sam!"
The fans chanted loudly.
He raised a clenched fist up and with a grin, he yelled. "Up Enyimba!"
The fans responded. "Up Enyimba!"
The players finally retreated from the celebrations, they still had to prepare for upcoming games. To the fans though, it was just starting as they continued their celebrations, savoring the moment till satisfaction.
While all that happened, the fixtures for the Super 6 playoffs to determine the NPFL champion was finally scheduled.
