Chapter 58: Chapter 60 - Man?
At first, she was taken aback when he suddenly accepted that he was from the future and acted out of character, considering it was a shock for her. But now that she thinks about it, it all feels like he was just trying to warn her or make her realize that no one would believe her even if she told them he was from the future.
'I need to know more about him.' Aria looked coldly ahead while moving toward the exit of the building belonging to the Art and Culture Department, thinking about her next step. She needed to find clues about this new professor by herself since she couldn't just tell Lin about him coming from the future.
At times like this, she really felt that Lin was being foolish for not letting her message him or providing any contact so that she could at least send him a warning in advance.
"Lol, it was good to see Aria's pale face—Oh my?!" Her other friend, also remembering the expression on Aria's face, wanted to join in teasing her but suddenly halted. They emerged into the open ground and looked in the distance towards two individuals attracting the gazes of several students as they moved calmly toward the main gate while passing through the large garden area.
The man walked through the garden with an air of quiet confidence. His silver hair stood out sharply against his white silk shirt, which was neatly tucked into well-fitted black pants. He held a black suit jacket over one arm, and a blue watch rested on his wrist. His blue eyes were fixed straight ahead, paying no mind to the curious stares around him.
Beside him, the woman moved with equal poise. Her black hair fell over her shoulders, and her golden eyes stood out against the dark tone of her black nightgown. The gown showed off her figure, and the black lipstick on her lips gave her a bold, striking look.
'Huh? Who is she?' Aria, standing there, looked towards a woman with unique makeup, a completely nonchalant attitude, and that particular cold demeanor, prompting her to move forward instinctively since her ability needed to be at least within a 20-meter range for her to see someone's title.
"Aria, what are you doing? The director is coming too," one of her friends placed her hand on Aria's shoulder, halting her before she moved, as she noticed the director moving towards those two particular individuals, feeling that maybe this was not a good time for them to disturb or interrupt them.
"But..." Aria glanced in the direction of that woman before turning towards her friend. She calmed herself, understanding that she should prioritize getting the information about her new professor instead of wasting her time here, and she nodded before all of them moved forward at a slow pace, not with the intent to approach the new professor.

"Amrita, wait, hear me," Lin had already tried many times, including in class, as he felt guilty seeing Amrita appearing lost in her thoughts. Still, she acted normally, but somehow he knew that inside she was hurt due to his actions.
"Huh, Lin, why are you running? I told you, it's fine," Amrita glanced back as she was putting her books inside the bag and looked toward Lin, who was sprinting towards her while passing through the other students while holding a bag.
"No, I mean I should not have acted like that in class," Lin arrived and stood beside her, while aware that it was not her first time, but she always left the academy soon, given that she had a part-time job in a cafe. Still, as their usual habit, he always accompanied her to the academy's gate. But today, she left alone, making him think that she was angry due to him.
"Fine, I forgive you," Amrita sighed, seeing how he was trying so hard earlier. Though of course, she didn't have any anger towards him, knowing well about his personality. It was slightly awkward and bad for her, but it was okay considering that most likely the classmates would forget about today's event, so it was not like she took his words to heart, but the issue was that professor.
Given how it was his first day, it was most probable that he would now have a very one-sided image of Lin in his eyes, making it hard for him to score good marks in sculpture classes, which was what made her slightly worried.
"Really? Haha, now we are talking," Lin smiled as both of them, with a chuckle, moved forward inside the corridor. As they exited the classroom, students were preparing to leave the academy.
"Hey, she must be an actress."
"Leave them and think about tomorrow's exams."
"Tch, you nerd, at least let us feast our eyes, I mean pray to that goddess."
"These idiots."
One after another, several murmurs and mumbles reached both Amrita and Lin's ears as they glanced towards the other students. While not all of them were paying much attention while busy in their path, a few among many were standing and gossiping while looking in a particular direction.
"Who is she?" Amrita looked towards a woman walking beside Professor Aven as she found herself feeling somewhat uncomfortable around that woman. Maybe it could be due to that unique makeup style of hers, which was confusing for Amrita, considering she wouldn't have felt such a way just because of the appearance of a person.
But somehow, she felt uncomfortable seeing that woman, more like repulsion, which she had never felt before from anyone, but it wasn't much, so she shook her head, ignoring these feelings.
"She seems to be the new professor," Lin answered as both of them started to move toward the main gate.
"And which department does she belong to?" Amrita inquired as she glanced between that woman in the black nightdress and then Lin.
"Treat me to a coffee and then I will tell," Lin shrugged his shoulder while the strap of his bag draped on his shoulder. Placing both hands in his pockets, he looked at Amrita with a smirk, knowing well that he would be able to get information within a few minutes if he used his family connections. But until then, he wanted to use this opportunity to make Amrita forgive him.
"Nice trick, but not gonna work on me," With those words Amrita uncreased her pace towards the main gate.
"H-hey!" Lin followed behind her to the exit.

"You seem to be becoming popular among male students," Avendial said, arriving at the main gate, where the car they had arrived in stood while the others had already left. Given that he had ordered the CEOs to prepare particular tasks without halting, he moved towards the car before sitting inside.
"It sucks for them, but I totally prefer a man over kids," Aecilia said. Entering the car, she took the driver's seat and started the engine, which roared, causing the students nearby to get out of the way while looking towards the car. Before hitting the accelerator, Aecilia turned her head towards Avendial, adding, "So, tell me, Marquess, are you a man?"
Vroom!
The car instantly roared with its wheels, within 3 seconds reaching a speed of 60 miles per hour, directly leaving a trail of rubber on the asphalt as it sped through the road connecting the academy. Taking the turn, they entered the main highway, where Avendial casually rested his hand on the car window and looked outside at the scenery.
"So, where are we going then?" Aecilia inquired while controlling the steering wheel with precise control, glancing at him.
Turning his eyes to her with a smile forming, he said, "Wasn't Miss Aecilia curious about whether I'm a man? Let's go to a hotel, and I'll show you there if I am or not."
